Redefining Permanency with Dental Implants

"The Grinding of My Teeth Over Time Got the Best of Me, I Was Miserable..."

Building Advanced, Long-Lasting Smiles

Missing teeth can significantly impact your overall well-being, leading to difficulties in chewing and speaking and affecting your confidence. Beyond the immediate challenges, the absence of teeth can result in nutritional deficiencies and strain surrounding teeth, potentially leading to further tooth loss. Dr. Justin Poulson offers a solution with affordable dental implants in Great Falls, MT, providing a permanent and lifelike replacement for missing teeth.

With advanced training and cutting-edge surgical technology, Dr. Poulson ensures that each dental implant replicates natural teeth’ look, feel, and function. Whether you need a single tooth replaced or comprehensive full mouth dental implants, regain your beautiful smile and enjoy a lifestyle without the limitations of ill-fitting dentures.

What Is a Dental Implant?

Dental implants mimic natural teeth using three parts. First, a post will replace the root of the tooth. Because the post fuses to the jaw, it provides permanent strength and stability while preventing bone loss. Second, an abutment that screws into the post to hold the third and final piece, the restoration. There are two tiers of restorations – the temporary that you receive on the day of surgery and the final that you receive once your mouth has healed. These restorations are your brand-new teeth and are strong enough to enjoy all your favorite foods while providing a permanent smile that won’t slip, shift, or fall out!

Versatile Solutions for Any Number of Missing Teeth

Single Implants

If you’re missing a single tooth or individual teeth in separate areas of the mouth, we can place a particular dental implant that looks and feels like a natural tooth. Your dental implant will prevent your other teeth from shifting, maintain a healthy and balanced bite, and prevent your jawbone from shrinking.

Dental Bridge

Dental bridges are restorative devices designed to replace one or more missing teeth by bridging the gap between adjacent natural teeth. Typically consisting of artificial teeth called pontics, dental bridges are anchored by crowns placed on the neighboring teeth, securing a stable and functional structure. This fixed prosthetic restores the aesthetics of a complete smile and helps maintain proper dental alignment and function.

Implants- Supported Dentures

Implant-supported dentures are a modern dental solution combining the stability of dental implants with the convenience of dentures. Unlike traditional dentures, implant-supported dentures are securely anchored to dental implants surgically placed in the jawbone, providing enhanced stability and preventing slippage. This innovative approach ensures a more secure fit. It promotes better oral health by preventing bone loss in the jaw and offering a comfortable and natural-feeling alternative to removable dentures.

Full Mouth Dental Implants

If you’re looking for a way to rebuild your smile and never need to leave your teeth in a glass, full mouth dental implants might be the answer you’re looking for. These permanently fixed tooth replacements stay securely in place with just a few implant posts. You’ll get the function and durability of strong, healthy natural teeth and a gorgeous smile you’ll feel proud to show the world.

Your Path to a Complete Smile

It takes three seamless steps when restoring your smile, whether it’s one tooth or an entire arch of teeth. We’ll begin with a consultation where you and Dr. Poulson discuss your medical history, dental concerns, smile goals, and what you envision your smile to look like. With this information, we’ll create a detailed treatment plan that designs your new smile with your facial features, skin tone, gum line, and lip line in mind. Once your treatment plan is created, we’ll administer your preferred sedation option and begin the procedure.

We’ll strategically place 4-6 dental implants into the jawbone at a 45-degree angle. Once these implants are placed, we’ll attach the abutment and place your temporary restoration on top. Over the next 4-6 months, your dental implants will fuse to your jawbone through osseointegration to create a robust and long-lasting foundation for your final restoration to adhere to. Once your mouth has healed, we’ll place your final restoration. Your dental implants can last for decades with a proper at-home hygiene routine and regular checkups!
